Welcome to a New Season of Learning at CKIS!
At Chosen Kiddies International School, we believe every child is unique, capable, and destined for greatness. This term, our classrooms have been buzzing with energy, ideas, and laughter as our learners dive into the heart of our unique curriculum—rooted in the Four Cs: Communication, Culture, Conflict, and Conservation.
Our theme this term is “Growing Through Expression”, and we are seeing it come alive in both big and small ways—from confident class presentations to thoughtful conversations on the playground.
🌍 Exploring Our World Through the Four Cs
Communication has taken center stage this month as we continue our journey as a Thinking School. Students are being encouraged to speak in full sentences, articulate their thoughts clearly, and engage in respectful dialogue. Our school council sessions have been vibrant with student voices—because at CKIS, we believe every child should be heard.
In Culture, children explored traditions and diversity, even dressing in cultural attire and presenting facts about different countries during our Cultural Dress Day. It was a beautiful celebration of unity in diversity!
When learning about Conflict, our older pupils have been reflecting on everyday disagreements and how to resolve them peacefully. Through role-play and storytelling, they’re learning that making wise choices and showing empathy can turn any challenge into a learning moment.
And of course, Conservation is close to our hearts. As an eco-conscious school, students have been collecting recyclables, planting flowers, and learning about their role as caretakers of the Earth.
🧠 Empowering Thinkers, Not Just Learners
Being a Thinking School is more than a title—it’s a mindset. We teach our students to ask questions, make connections, and think deeply. Critical and creative thinking isn’t just a subject here—it’s woven into everything we do.
One proud moment came when Grade 5 students presented solutions to local environmental challenges, combining science, art, and persuasive writing into one exciting project!

This month, we’ve had excellent turnout at our Parent Workshops and curriculum presentations. We love hearing from you and working together to support your child’s journey. Don’t forget to check your SmartSapp app daily for updates, homework, and school news.
